Conflict can be exhausting. When conversations break down, my role is to bring people back to a place where they feel heard, respected, and able to move forward. I am Nirja Parekh, founder of Calm Path Mediation, and I work with people who are tired of tension and stress at work, in housing situations, or in everyday disputes, and who want a fair, practical way through that does not damage relationships further.
TYPES OF MEDIATION
Partnership & small business relationship disputes
I help resolve disputes about professional fees and services including scope changes, quality concerns, delays, and disputed invoices. Mediation is confidential and structured, helping both sides clarify what was agreed, understand what matters most, and reach a practical outcome such as a revised scope, fee adjustment, refund/discount, or payment plan.
Property and Housing Mediation
I work with landlords, tenants and letting agents on disputes around rent, repairs, deposits, noise and communication. Mediation can prevent escalation, avoid court and find practical solutions everyone can live with.
Business & Contract Mediation
I support businesses and individuals to resolve disputes about contracts, unpaid invoices, services not delivered as expected and breakdowns in business relationships. The focus is on reaching commercial, realistic agreements while saving time, cost and reputation.

Booking Information
I follow the Civil Mediation Council Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme for disputes up to £50,000.
For disputes up to £5,000 the fee is £75 per party for a one-hour online mediation, or £125 per party for two hours.
For disputes between £5,000 and £15,000 the fee is £320 per party (up to three hours).
For £15,000 to £50,000 the fee is £445 per party (up to four hours).
Additional time, if everyone agrees to continue, is £100 per party per hour.
The fixed fee includes my preparation and a short written follow-up.
Fees are normally shared equally between the parties, payable in advance, with any venue hire or travel for in-person mediations charged separately at cost.
A simple cancellation policy and full terms will be sent for you to review before confirming your booking.
